Rice Domestication for Salt Tolerance
Plant roots possess a remarkable capacity to regenerate following injury, yet the cellular and molecular trajectories underlying this process remain poorly resolved. We applied single-cell RNA sequencing across multiple timepoints following root tip excision to capture the dynamics of cell fate reprogramming, dedifferentiation, and stem cell niche re-establishment. This dataset identifies key regulatory transitions and candidate transcription factors driving regeneration, providing a framework for understanding plasticity in plant tissue repair.
